Lookout Lookout, Experiments in a Virtual Double World
Artists Iain Nicholls and Alison Gill develop their latest project exploring the intersection of virtual reality (VR) and sculpture - taking the unique architecture of the Lookout Tower as a starting point.
As the title of the show points suggests, Lookout Lookout Experiments in a Virtual Double World, is the testbed for ideas to be resolved more fully by the end of 2016 in an art installation.
Both artists share an interest in speculative futures, consciousness and how virtual reality will open up new ways of thinking and experiencing art.
