Member Profile Helen Murray

I work with natural materials, usually on a painted grid, attempting to evoke a mood or atmosphere in the object itself; something understood intuitively rather than by description.

Member Profile John Lidster

Having moved to E Suffolk between lockdowns from Leigh on sea where they'd had a gallery for many years, Jane Martin and John Lidster proceeded to buy a small dilapidated shop on Leiston High Street. Very slowly restoring the premises...it’s nearly there…and displaying artworks in the windows, it became something of a mystery locally because works were being sold but it was never open (by appointment only) .

Friday 6th September will see the Private View of the first and his first solo exhibition in ATELIER gallery by sculptor in bronze, Tom Browning.

From then on, the gallery, which includes a studio space, will be available for hire complete or in part. Reasonable and negotiable rates will apply, hopefully giving ‘first timers’ and established artists a chance to show their work without too great an outlay.

You are invited to view Tom’s exhibition and the space.
