Nearly every year the Arts Club Aldeburgh Beach sets off around the world on an arts exploration. Then 100 of us went to Venice where we took over a beautiful Palazzo and exhibited at the Venice Biennale. Then we went to the extremest point of Western Ireland as artists in residence of the renowned Cill Rialaig arts programme. We stayed in famine cottages and made art together and had fun! Now we are setting off for the hills of Tuscany!!! This trip is fully booked but watch out for furture years and join us for art and fun!

Collage provides an exciting way of radically changing an image as well as an alternative way of creating a painting or drawing. During this course, we will look at how collage can be an addition to a drawing or painting, or a unique way of image making in itself. You will experiment with adding collage to drawings you have made as well as practicing different techniques over the whole surface.

Aldeburgh Literary Festival
The Aldeburgh Literary Festival was started in 2002 by John and Mary James of The Aldeburgh Bookshop. It has featured an extraordinary variety of talks, from the local to the global, the serious to the hilarious, the scientific to the philosophical. The Festival is proud to be located in Aldeburgh at the Jubilee Hall and we are delighted that our audience fills the streets of Aldeburgh with visitors and conversation in a winter weekend. The intimate atmosphere makes it very special. We are also proud that this is a completely independent Literary Festival receiving no grants or sponsorship.

Potton Hall
Sculpture in the Valley 2022 is the flagship event of Waveney & Blyth Arts’ (W&BA) annual ‘Celebrate’ programme, which uses the arts to connect people to their time and place in the coastal areas, market towns and rural hinterland of the Waveney and Blyth river valleys. Our multi-arts programme offers a lens through which to experience the physical and cultural environment, and in particular to explore what it is that attracts people to a region that is steeped in history, and embraces modernity. For this Call-Out, we are seeking 3-dimensional works that respond in ways that reach and engage with new and wide audiences.
