Jude Hardy

Jude studied art and design at Windsor college in, Berkshire. She then went on to work in the advertising and design industry in London. In 2000, Jude  moved with her husband to the Suffolk coast. Having now had a career and raised her children, Jude has recently picked up the brushes again, now with the time to re-discover part of her life that she never left behind.

Jude mainly paints in oil, inspired by still life and Suffolk landscapes. Her paintings show the various objects she has collected, that have resonance and meaning to her work. The Suffolk landscape is also an important subject matter in Jude’s work, as she immerses herself in nature as she walks through the trees and beaches with her dog. Jude is now working on a series of paintings which will be on sale in The Fish Hut, throughout Suffolk Open Studios ’23.
